Details of degradation
The specified environment conditions (heat or
light), after a certain period of time led to a significant
material change in the chemical structure of the loss of certain
properties (e.g. integrity, molecular weight, structure, mechanical
properties), long molecules break into small molecules, and
these small elements will be biodegradable.
Under the natural environment such as soil, sand
for compost, the material is decomposed into CO2,
H2O and biomass by microorganism, e.g. bacterial,
fungi and algae.
